Leonard Robert Adler, age 95, the son of Joseph and Anna “Minnie” J. (Welchert) Adler, was born December 5, 1923 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away December 24, 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Leonard was a long-time member of the Omaha Fire Department and was a proud Veteran of the United States Army Air Corps.

He is survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Minnie Adler; wife, Catherine Marie Adler; nine brothers, Anton, Otto, George, William, Emil, Leo, Louis, Roy and Eugene.

Visitation Details:

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church (8200 N. 30th St.).

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 2 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 P.M.

Omaha Fire Department Honor Guard to be present for the visitation.

Burial with Military Honors will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
