Station No. 63, 168th & “S”

The station was built in 1997 by the Millard Fire Department as their West Station. At that time the Millard Fire Department was in the process of being merged into the Omaha Fire Department, a process which did not conclude until January 1999.

The stations response territory mostly consists of neighborhoods which include, Mission Park, Mission Hills, Mission Ridge, Millard Park, Pheasant Run, Stony Brook, and Autumn Ridge. The station responds to Millard South and West high schools, and Lake Zorinsky.

The station’s fire suppression compliment include Engine No. 63, a 2024 Pierce Enforcer, Truck 63, a 2024 Pierce Enforcer 107′ rear mount ladder, and Battalion 6, 2022 Ford F-150 and vehicle of the district Battalion Chief.

The station maintains Water Rescue 63, a jet ski which can be used in responses to Zorinsky or elsewhere.
