Station No. 60, 129th & Augusta

The station was built in 1978 and lies in the northeast corner of 129th & Augusta Streets. Its response territory includes Montclair, Sunset Ridge Townhomes, Westwood Plaza, Royalwood Estates and Oak Valley Senior Community.

The station’s fire suppression compliment include Engine/Rescue 60, a 2024 Pierce Enforcer PUC. The Engine is a dual purpose apparatus. In addition to operating as a traditional fire pumper, the personnel have been cross trained and are members of the Special Operations team. In their role as Rescue 60 they can provide, rope rescue, trench rescue, confined space rescue, heavy rescue, and hazardous materials response. Additionally, the station is the home of Omaha Fire’s dive team.

The station also maintains Rescue 160, a 2019 Ford F-350, which pulls an extended trailer equipped with trench rescue supplies.
