Station No. 41, 61st & Ames

This station was built in 1966, and lies near the intersection of 60th Street & Ames Avenue. It serves large swaths of North Omaha, Northwest Omaha, and a corner of Benson.

The station’s suppression compliment include Engine No. 41, 2023 Pierce Enforcer, and Truck No. 41, a 2024 Pierce Enforcer 107′ rear mount ladder.

The station’s medical compliment include Medic No. 41, a 2021 Freightliner M2.

The station logo features a cartoon rabbit in profile, wearing bunker gear. The assigned firefighters refer to themselves as the Benson Brigade.
