Station No. 33, 42nd & Valley

The station sits at the intersection of 42nd Street & Valley Street, with quick access to Grover Street and I-80.

The station’s fire suppression compliment includes Engine No. 33, a 2017 Rosenbauer Commander, and Battalion 3, a 2022 Ford F-150, and vehicle of the district Battalion Chief.

The station also serves as the home of Rescue 33, a 2025 Pierce Enforcer. This unit is the frontline heavy rescue unit of the Omaha Fire Department. This unit is designated as the Rapid Intervention Team, providing safety for all firefighters at every fire scene. Additionally they are trained in rope rescue, high and low angle, trench rescue, confined space rescue, and HazMat.

The station primarily serves the midtown and Ak-Sar-Ben neighborhoods.
