Station No. 31, 34th & “Q”

The station sits along the Q Street corridor, with quick access to the John F. Kennedy Freeway and 42nd Street. It is the city’s newest station, built in 2022 to replace the city’s oldest station.

The suppression compliment includes Engine No. 31, a 2011 Spartan Gladiator, and Truck No. 31, a 2019 E-One Cyclone.

The medical compliment includes Medic No. 31, a 2022 Ford F-450.

The station serves historic South Omaha. In recognition of the areas packing house history their logo features the outline of a steer’s head and they’ve adopted the nickname, the Bomberos.
