Station No. 30, 69th & “F”

The station was built in 1963 and sits in the southeast corner of I-80 & 72nd Street. The station was built in response to new, post war neighborhoods built in the area, specifically Karen Edition.

The station’s suppression compliment includes Engine No. 30, a 2022 E-One Typhoon, and Light Air 30, a 2016 Freightliner M2 106, that can refill SCBA bottles at the scene of fires.

The station also maintains a work station for the crew of Light Air 30, where they can perform maintenance on SCBAs and their bottles, and individual portable radios.
