The fire station was built in 1998 and sits north of the Winter Quarters in Florence. It replaced the old training tower which sat at 30th & Hanover Streets.

It is a single engine house, with its suppression compliment consisting of Engine No. 23, a 2020 E-One Typhoon.

The station responds to historic Florence. Their logo consists of a red number 23 inside of a fire service Maltese cross.
