Station No. 24, 29th & State

Fire Station No. 24 was acquired when Florence was annexed by the City of Omaha on June 7, 1917.  It became quarters for Hose No. 24, was motorized on November 21, 1918 and reclassified as Engine No. 24.  Engine 24 remained at this location until a new fire station/training center was constructed in 1931.
