Fire Station No. 19, was organized on July 1, 1915 when the City of Omaha annexed South Omaha. It was quarters for Hose No. 19, motorized on December 2, 1918 and reclassified as Engine No. 19. The original quarters were demolished in 1922 and a new Fire Station No. 19 was constructed that opened on April 20, 1923.
