Water Tower No. 1

Water Tower No. 1 was originally a horse drawn unit.  At some point it became motorized and placed in the several firehouses in the downtown area.  In 1939 the water tower was placed on a new GMC chassis and removed from service in 1962.  It was an active piece of apparatus for 80 years and was photographed at many multiple alarm fires.
