Fred “Freddy” Hyda, of Omaha Nebraska passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the age of 91. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife of 66 years Lorraine.
Fred is Survived by his 2 children Kevin (Teresa) Hyda and Mary Jayne (Myron) Throener. Grandchildren Rylie and Regan Hyda and Kyle (Jill) Muehlich, all of Omaha, NE. and many other family and friends.
Fred was a Korean War veteran, a former captain of the Omaha fire department, and a lifelong farmer. But most importantly he was the best Father, Husband, and Grandfather anyone could ask for.
After a long day on the farm you could typically find Fred at one of his favorite Keno spots with his wife Lorraine. He ALWAYS had time for a good joke but don’t get him started on that husker football!
He was truly one of a kind person Who would do anything for anyone and will be missed by everyone who knew him. We love you grandpa.
